Community Activities

Diabetes education program

The program offers Italian and English-speaking diabetic patients taking oral medication and/or insulin and includes two sessions during which patients learn more about the disease, complications, the use of equipment to measure blood glucose and the relationship between diet and diabetes. The sessions are conducted by a dietician and a nurse who speak Italian, English and French. For registration and further information: 514-274-9462.

A new free legal and notary service

A new free legal and notary service is now available for the Italian community in the areas of NDG, Lasalle, Lachine, Verdun, Côte Saint-Luc, Ville Emard and West Island with lawyer Frank Ciampini and notary Nadia De Riggi.
